Lokal is a community-driven platform that helps users discover local businesses, places, and experiences through maps, reviews, challenges, rewards, and social features. Lokal may also enable businesses to promote offers, challenges, and advertising to users.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lokal. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Manipulate reviews, rewards, or challenges
• Impersonate another person or business
• Abuse, harass, or threaten other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Platform

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as reviews, photos, comments). However, by submitting content, you grant Lokal a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for Platform and marketing purposes.

You confirm that you have the right to share any content you upload.

Lokal may offer points, cashback, vouchers, or other rewards through challenges or activities.

• Rewards have no cash value unless explicitly stated
• Conversion rates, limits, and eligibility may change
• Lokal may revoke rewards obtained through abuse or manipulation
• Rewards are subject to availability and third-party business participation

Lokal does not guarantee the availability or redemption of any reward.

Businesses listed on Lokal are responsible for the accuracy of their information and fulfillment of offers.

Lokal:

• Does not guarantee service quality or availability
• Is not responsible for disputes between users and businesses
• Does not act as an agent or broker

Any transaction or experience is strictly between you and the business.

Lokal uses geo-location data to provide relevant experiences, challenges, and offers.

• Location access is optional and can be disabled in your device settings
• Some features may not work without location access
• Location data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy

Lokal may display sponsored content, promotions, or ads.

• Sponsored content may be targeted based on location or usage
• Lokal does not endorse advertised businesses or offers
• Advertisers are responsible for their claims

All Platform content excluding user submissions including branding, logos, UI, text, and software is owned by or licensed to Lokal.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Harm the Platform or its community

You may delete your account at any time.

Lokal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy, or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lokal shall not be liable for:

• Losses arising from user or business interactions
• Missed rewards or promotions
• Technical issues or service interruptions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Lokal, if any, in the past 12 months.

You agree to indemnify and hold Lokal harmless from claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Lokal after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
